I am not sure how the come and take the gas stove graphic above is humorous - can someone explain that to me?

I was wondering that myself @Jeb zone 5.

Elizabeth, come back and explain!

Me three...

I can't believe y'all haven't heard that your gooberment wants to outlaw gas stoves.

In California, at a certain point, no more gas stoves will be sold, but no one has said anything about outlawing gas stoves or removing existing gas stoves. Existing gas stoves will be grandfathered in. Only kooks believe that the government will be invading people's houses to take their gas stoves away.

That's the most humorous way I can describe it.

Ah I see....I guess terrorizing the citizenry about made up government infringements aren't at the forefront of what I consider to be major issues facing this country.

Sorry. I thought it was funny. I would remove it, but it disturbs the flow of the thread

No need to remove it Elizabeth...nothing wrong with it for those in the know...

Rusty

I took Elizabeth's drawing to mean, "Take it. I'm done with cooking."

I'm all for *transitioning* from natural gas. Although, Gas water heaters are worse polluters than stoves.

I find the whole idea of banning gas stoves to be hilarious

I actually just came back to see if the cartoon was explained. Thanks for explaining it. It was totally off my radar.

Are ya sure that all of this talk of banning gas stoves wasn't originated by a gas bag?

Whatever ... sounds like a lotta hot air.

ole joyfuelled - please don't ban this ole gas bag

(forgot to push "space" after that last "bag", before going to "submit" ... so it disappeared, as usual, had to come back to edit it in: when will I learn the rules of writing here at zzuoH?) o j " "space"
