Trying to remodel a kitchen. Looking to remove a load bearing wall

Cat
last year

Remodeling kitchen. 11’w x22’ L

Front has a wall of windows and front door, while back wall has door to basement.

Load bearing wall seperates kitchen and dining room which we are looking to remove, change the layout of current kitchen to include an island that can accomodate seating for at least 4, caddy cornered for conversation since that will be our daily table.

Questioning if the removed wall would look awkward with a lip and column or do we need to break load bearing wall and imbed the beam… was told it still would have a lip that would intersect with the front door. would love suggestions on this remodel. Looking for good flow and visual appeal to maximize space. We enjoy entertaining ! ps part of my wish list is a 36” stove.
