I'm late to the discussion, but I like your choice(s). I have 3 walls of windows in our sunroom and I love roman shades in there. And we don't even need them for privacy - but we do need a bit of relief from the sun. My shades are almost always pulled down 1/3 of the way at the most. However my windows are taller than yours. Our romans are solid as are the slipcovers in that room. I have a pillow obsession (and maybe a throw/blanket obsession) and love to swap out. ANYWAY, the rug is beautiful as is the paint color. I think the light fabric is a good choice and will keep the room from being too dark. I may be biased on that thought, because I favor more airy, light rooms. Glad you didn't go with valances! No, not the way it goes at our house cuz it'd drive me over the edge. I'm kind of a get one project out of the way before starting another one type of gal. LOL And we DIY alot of things, and I couldn't handle more than 1 at a time. I bet you could recover the chairs yourself.

I guess I have an excuse to visit Ikea. ive never been there. If you want to go with curtains, $60/pair is about the cheapest I know of, and it's very good quality at any price point. Maybe others have some good ideas for other curtains at a comparable price (I'm in Canada and don't know what's available at Target etc.). so so you think.I need to the floor drapes? If you want curtains, they should be to the floor. But you could have shades of some sort, bamboo or Roman. and should the walls be painted a similar color I.e beige Do you like beige? Do you want beige? It seems to work well with your existing furniture and the rug.

I appreciate your input! When I put the blinds up they look chunky and ugly. When they are down the horizontal lines cause obstruction. The play area is usually a little more organized.. :) I just had a baby so things are a bit chaotic right now.

At this point we are just considering the options, but this is a current possibility, bring the wall in 2' on either side, we could just do it with 2x4's and then exteriorsiding that would be stuccoed to match the outside of the house. Build out the insideto match the drywall, cut off the portion of the sill outside where there will no longer be a window. Then build the interior area to accept probably 5 2' wide windows with 4 5" posts in between, and yes we would not use the colonial style molding, try to source something to match the 5" baseboard we currently have in place. It will be a big job and I can do a lot of it myself, however I think it would be worth it and then the window seat under would like so much nicer, thanks for the help, not sure when we will be able to do it as the windows will be at least $250 each for Simonton 5500's. In the meantime we are going to use the window tint to give us some privacy and still allow light and wait on tax time :), thanks for the help everyone. I will post when we move forward with the project.
