hopefully you'll get this before you plant it in areas with foot traffic. I found this when reading about MY sedum angelina... terrific low evergreen groundcover for sunny areas with poor dry soil. This forms a trailing mat of succulent golden-yellow leaves. Clusters of yellow starry flowers appear during the summer. When planted in containers or on a wall this develops a beautiful cascading habit. Plants may be pruned back at any time if they get too large. Foliage sometimes develops beautiful amber tones in the autumn and winter. Does well in large rock gardens where the plants can be given room to spread. Best with occasional to no foot traffic. Drought tolerant. USPP: unlicensed propagation prohibited. Registered with COPF.

Thank you all for your advice. I've reposted the images below as lindac requested, so they show (I hope). To answer questions posed: **What do you have in mind? I had in mind cleaning the table, perhaps lightly sanding the top surface, filling a few holes on the top surface, and applying some sort of finish to protect the table top. Short term I will use as a very large desk. Longer term, I would like to use as a dining table. Does anyone have recommendations for a finish? I like an oil finish, but that may be too invasive, perhaps just a wax finish? **First let's see more pictures. It's in storage, I'll see if I can supply more pictures later in the week. **What sort of wood is it? Is the paint peeling off of bare wood? What IS happening there? It's a softwood, hard to tell what, since it's so weathered. It sat outdoors for sometime. The table top appears to be raw wood--perhaps it had a wax finish at one time? The legs and and frame were painted, and are now a fragile peeling patina, peeling off bare wood. **I'm not sure I would bother with new ( matching ) legs unless you go the refinishing route.I would like to see some kind of support in the center though. The table is very strong, even with just 4 legs. It may be strong enough if I just make sure the 4 legs that are left are properly attached. Any recommendations on how to reinforce the 4 legs that are left, without doing any damage? I got a cassette player just prior to heading off to college, from my parents. My parents didn't even own a stereo - they simply weren't much interested in music at all. But I think they wanted me to fit in. So they told my grandmother that I'd be getting one, and so please give our daughter some cassettes because she might like that... Apparently, my grandmother went to the music shop and bought me 3 cassettes based on what the guy helping her out figured might be nice for a grand daughter of my age... and amazingly, all THREE selections are ones I loved, and still love. (They eventually got replaced with CD's way down the road...) Cat Stevens, Tea for the Tillerman Carole King, Tapestry Gordon Lightfoot - not sure which album but one of his late 60's one. I am quite certain that Grandmother said, yeah, she loves cats, let's get the Cat Stevens one, and there's a cat on the cover of Tapestry, so yes, let's get that! Not sure how Gordon Lightfoot ended up in there, too, but hey, I ended up loving ALL THREE albums!

@Woodbern I hired someone to paint for me, so I don't know all the details on the steps they took to prep the wood. I think what you will need to do will depend on the condition and type of your surface and the type of paint you choose. I used 2 gallons of Sherwin Williams 7006 "Extra White" semi-gloss over one gallon of a water based primer (similar to Kilz but SW brand). Hope that helps! Good luck!!
