It doesn't sound like the co-op KD spent very much time on your design. Don't feel guilty about asking for a quote and then not using them. A kitchen renovation is a big investment and you want to make sure that your money is well spent. I got 6 quotes in all, and I'm really glad I did. You're in Boston? I live in Southern NH, and I found a huge range in prices from one cabinet source to the next. By the way, why not post your design here and ask for advice from the resident layout experts? We bought our cabinets online. No problems with customer service, whatsoever. It might be more helpful if you could post the particular online retailers you are considering and then, you might get specific responses about those specific retailers.

I purchased two faucets from them and they're both top quality. My nottingham brass shower in oil rubbed bronze is gorgeous, and everyone who has handled it is impressed with the quality. I highly recommend them...so much that I'll buy Nottingham brass for the second house we're doing as well. And SH was very easy to work with :)

99% of web cabinets with one color one style are cheepchinesecrapola. As is anything used on HGTV.
