Thanks everyone for your comments. Are Delta, Moen, and Kohler the only ones doing handsfree? All the searches seem to only bring these 3 up. Julia42 its amazing consumers are more educated than sales people at the stores. We asked multiple places about the Moen and everyone told us they only offered batteries. Thanks for your link, that helped a lot. Cal_quail- That is exactly what I am looking for a better "feeling quality". I would like to be different is possible. beagle- I am not a tap master person. Great concept, just not for me. a2gemini- I looked at some Chicago websites are they only commercial?

None of these scare stories have happened to me. I’ve had mine for almost 2 years. I leave it set on medium hot. If you need to adjust the temp, you can always at least clean your hands first, then move the lever to change temp. I pretty much only need to change it if I want cold water for coffee pot, etc, in which case my hands aren’t dirty! Ours has never turned itself on. I can’t understand why so many people who have never tried one are so negative. If you cook, you get dirty hands and it’s a great feature. It is very simple to use manually if you prefer. It turns itself off automatically after a few minutes, so no risk of it overflowing or something.

We have one and we HATE it. It turns off all of the time in the middle of using it. For example if we are washing and rinsing a large pot, if the pot bumps the faucet even the tiniest bit is turns off. It is so sensitive to touch that the slightest thing turns it off. We are constantly having to stop and tap it to turn it back on. We do this dozens of times a day, so it is a real annoyance. I would avoid these like the plague. There is something lovely about turning on a tap and it not shutting off on you a million times.
