I would remove the white TV surround/cabinet completely. and hang the TV on the wall over a low console. The current TV unit both overwhelms and dates the room. Then I would go with dark wood tables but in a more transitional style to update a bit. I'd also remove that big scrolly piece of metal art from the living room wall. Nice room!

The two tables you show us are very different styles & looks like a small stone (?) top with brass frame C table at other end of couch so yet another table style. Have you thought about a smaller scale coffee table for sofa with a style compatible end table between the chairs? If it’s a cabinet style table you have storage & it hides the lamp cords directly behind it. To hide lamp cords behind open tables, I run the cord down behind a leg, secure it with either a zip tie or a stick on museum wax then run cord straight back to wall, tuck under baseboard all the way down to plug in & last short length up the wall to the plug in..this does tidy the look of cords everywhere & helps keep people from tripping on them if walking behind furniture.

I really like the color of your sofa. My sister recently bought a similar one for her new apartment. However, on the opposite side, I would advise you to hang the TV on the wall or make a special mount. This will free up space for a coffee table.
