Replacing old insulation in unfinished basement.

dottt1
last year

Hi. I have the old, yellow-color fiberglass batt insulation, cut in squares all around the top of basement cement walls where they meet the framing of the house. I think it needs to be upgraded, but not sure what should be used. I'm not looking forward to cutting batts of fiberglass into the squares, but maybe that has the highest R-value? Not sure. Any advice would be appreciated. It seems like insulation has changed over the past 40 years with there being more options now. Thanks in advance.
