In Loving Memory of Dear Friends Lost
Comments (9)Lordy Lordy, Chicka dee dee dee you brought a tear to my eyes too. Our little dog is 18 years old, losing her sight and quite deaf. But she keeps on going, with a little help from us, when she cannot make it up on the setee or the patio deck stairs, on her own steam. The though of not having her around is hard to deal with for sure. But it seems to be coming closer all the time. "Horton"...See MoreUPDATE: earthly's christmas in july buddy swap
Comments (100)thanks for the update carol. i'll keep my fingers crossed that it's soon. no shaking....they'll come when they are ready. afterall, there's several of them in there that have to be ready. i sometimes think i would like to move too, but i think it would take several months just to pack all the plants i would want to take with me. our weather today was still hard to take. the weeds are getting away from me. and i finally have some color on my tomatoes. been picking beans like crazy. the broccoli is really growing in a strange way. peppers are in abundance, picked several varieties of squash and corn should be ready real soon. i have a lot of work to do in my flower beds, i'm itchy to transplant things, but this isn't the time, also, this certainly isn't the weather for it....See MoreI lost a dear friend today...
Comments (26)I'm so sorry you are hurting. We had three funerals in February - and others we didn't go to. *sigh* It's sad to start losing people so close to our own age. Hugs to you, Eliza Ann. I'm sure your friend knows that you were there in spirit before she left this world, and you two will be together again someday....See MoreFor those of us who have lost someone.....
Comments (7)Not sure if I posted this for you...it helps me get through the day. My Life is but a weaving between my Lord and me; I cannot choose the colors He worketh steadily. Oft times He weaveth sorrow And I, in foolish pride, Forget He sees the upper, And I the under side. Not til the loom is silent And the shuttles cease to fly, Shall God unroll the canvas And explain the reason why. The dark threads are as needful In the Weaver's skillful hand, As the threads of gold and silver In the pattern He has planned. He knows, He loves, He cares, Nothing this truth can dim. He gives His very best to those Who leave the choice with Him....See More- 3 years ago
