A pic could help for an with an over all view and the soil discription as you can best discribe. For now the browning and discoloration sounds like the crown of your Aloe had gotten to wet. It sits just under a soil line and could rot if left in a soil thats to wet for to long. Uncertain if it is crown rot and or white fly or fungus (all unknown) would prompt me to remove what ever plant is left from the pot and bare root it leaving crown and roots exposed on news paper or in a cardbord box while composing a different soil.

Thank you for saving the saddest looking one of the bunch i do the same thing when i buy plants, it's a better reward and feeling when they recover and do well. I'm thinking the bottom leaves are prob goners but you never really know, y best bet is to either wait itor prune back the dead leaves. Good luck

While your plant is an Aloe, I don't believe it is an Aloe vera. There are Aloes that have stems like your plant. Unfortunately, I am not good at identifying them. LOL You might try Googling Aloe plants and look at the different images. Hopefully someone here will recognize your plant.

I had similar accident few yrs back. Few succs got sprayed - they were quite 'spotted', but didn't die. I do not have Aloe vera. It took a while for all the leaves to get replaced by new ones...spots didn't disappear. I guess it all depends on what the sprays was (ingredients), and plants sensitivity. Your aloe looks quite red, maybe you should keep it in dappled shade for a while. Many plants could be more photosensitive if sprayed as Kara suggested. It is suggested to keep them out of sunlight while using any spray treatment - same would apply here...
