iPhone tethering question
Comments (4)If you have a grandfathered Verizon unlimited data plan, you might be better off with that for awhile. Or, you might find one of the smaller carriers offering more aggresive pricing with a Mifi device. Your speed at the PC will be the same as on your phone, the link between the two is WiFi, much faster than the 3g speed. You won't likely have enough allowance to use it for movies or Netflix. Mike, note that a good 3g connection can be faster than entry level dsl, for instance. Also, Android phones have built in tethering, no app needed...See MoreCan someone decipher this msg from my iPhone.
Comments (8)sorry folks, i haven't felt well today. now about the message. i saw it before - last week or two. I now can send no email messages..I fixed it by working on the mail settings and then it worked. Chugger, Nice find. Thans for going the distance. It is old yes. I have gone to the source = I believe comcast ( or sprint) = and deleted all my email messages for the last couple of weeks and called the suspicious ones spam. This message is a text message I received. You are right I need to do something with text. I know the push system and I wiped out all emails by continually deleting on the phone. so i was only receiving current email. I will need to adjust the email settings. RC, I swore i looked at your link that finds bugs for cell phones and it was for ios as well. sad that it isn't. That's all for now....See MoreiAquaLink - Jandy/Zodiac iPhone Control -Finally
Comments (27)I just set up my iAqualink. Seems to work really well and is certainly more responsive then my wireless RS on-touch. I have the intellibrite lights, and I have no problem setting/changing the colors. I do have a growing list of enhancements I'd like to see such as tracking energy consumption of the ePump and the ability to backup and store the configuration. Given the web interface, I think a more streamlined scheduling interface (drag and drop items onto a timeline) is in order. Oh, and let's get the iPhone app revised so it takes advantage of the iPads greater screen real-estate. For the technical inclined people, the iAqualink is actually based on the ioBridge platform (including the phone apps). It's nice to see Jandy/Zodiac leveraging existing technology vs trying to develop this in-house. Jeff...See MoreWhat is your favorite iPhone car holder?
Comments (0)I recently upgraded to an iPhone 6s (I previously had a 4). I never used my iPhone 4 as a GPS device. Rather, I used an old Garmin. However, now that I have an iPhone 6s, I have just downloaded Google Maps today. I'm quite excited! I intend to be using my cell phone for my GPS needs from now on. Stupid question: What is your favorite iPhone car holder? The type that cling onto the air vent? The magnetic kind? The type that use a suction on the windshield? The ones that mount onto the dashboard? Just curious for I'm going to be purchasing one. But I also don't want to pay an arm and a leg, if you know what I mean. :)...See Morededtired
