Mom's Mom painted this one when I was just a little girl. Something about the colors and it's primitive nature that I find intriguing.

DH's aunt was a prolific artist and we are graced with a couple of her pieces.

Not really art..(well it was to me). My Sil made these for my youngest GS's BD when

he was small. All made out of cake, frosting, jelly and food coloring. Several years

ago, and those fries still amaze me. LOL

Some of the carvings my former neighbour who lived below me made. She's always making things out of twigs, branches, driftwood, acorns, anything she can find. She's 88

My sweet and talented niece painted this on the wall of a shopping center that was scheduled to be renovated. That's her on the ladder and her DH holding it. This was painted so that other HS seniors could pose below the balloons without the 'GHS' logo to the side. Let me tell you, it was visited by many students that year in their caps and gowns and others as well, holding onto that bunch of balloons.

My bestfriend painted the top painting as well as both side paintings above our living room fireplace.

Since I mostly paint nudes, I won't post my own art. I picked up that habit in life drawing class.

We collectively decided the theme, they made the various components, and I cut out, painted, and assembled. They were about 6 feet by 4 feet.

This is one of my photographs that I had printed onto canvas. I'd never done that before, but I like how it turned out - the textured surface matches the old walls and frescoes in the shot

This is about the extent of my "art." Take a back cover off Cook's Illustrated and frame it. At least it's seasonal right now!

DH does "shingle art" on houses using cedar shingles. This is a striped bass over our garage doors. Approx. 10' wide and 5' tall.

This is a tree on the side of his workshop - he used red cedar.

Back in the 50s, copper work, done from a pattern, was a "thing." This is one done by my grandfather.

I totally recall that craft, jmm- we did it in school art classes in the 70s and it's still somewhat popular - copper tooling, I believe it's called 😃
