Rainy, rainy Sunday photos
Comments (14)You were fortunate to get such good photo's. I went out early before church and got a few. Some weren't open yet and when I got home, the rains came..in buckets so everyone I didn't take a photo of, was beat to death. Destined To See looks really good and Gilded By Grace is strutting. A 5" bloom is a really good one on her. As always, PSM does light things up and Lord Of The Wind is a favorite here. Ellie...See MoreKat & Treefrog's - Sunday July 15th - photos!
Comments (13)Where to start? Thank you, Kat, for a great inspiration in butterfly gardening, I loved your "Florida certified" garden. Thanks for taking time with my son and explaining him about the atala butterfly caterpilar. Big Thank you to you David. You are a wonderful host, thank you for sharing you home with us for a day. Your food was to die for (I will have to get the recipe for your thai wings, and the chaya wrapped yummies!!!) And the meat, hmmmmm, so good. Kristi, thank you for thinking of my little boy with the gardening supplies, he gardens with me quite a lot. Those will come very handy. Ricky, thank you for your autographed book, you are really talented. Thank you Lisa, for sharing with us the lovely variegated heliconia, it has been a long time on my wish list. It was lovely to see everybody again, and thanks to those who drove the distance, and to those who traded plants with me. Jerry and I had a great time. Hope to see you all at my place at the end of September!!! Veronika Oh, and Tony, what was the name of the candy? Those were so good (the Lychee ones)....See MoreFlowers from yesterday (Sunday)
Comments (16)Thanks, everyone! Mantis, I don't have Heartbeat of Heaven and have never seen it in person, so I don't know how El Shaddai compares. Neon Flamingo is definitely not at it's registered height here in my garden... but it's been here less than two years and I have dug into it twice. It does seem to increase pretty well. Debra, I think El Shaddai is much prettier than Emmerich's photos - in the garden and I think in my pictures too. Nancy, I have 4 or 5 different shasta daisies, I like them - and the deer and rabbits don't eat them, which is an important factor here in my yard!...See MoreMore flowers from Sunday and before
Comments (12)Mantis, Red Eye Queen does not reach registered height for us, but it is fairly new in the garden. Heidi, But Wait, There's More starts out single, but the later flowers are often double. It just started blooming here. This is what we see when it doubles. Dick, it was an accident that I put But Wait, There's More at the beginning of the comments. I guess I'm not clever enough to do it on purpose. Nancy...See Moresherrygirl zone5 N il
