Hanstone quartz???
Comments (10)Just left the counter company ... we were all set on Eco Polar Cap and then saw the Hanstone Specchio White and fell in love. From what I've read here, I was assuming Hanstone should be a little lower vs. Eco, but the slabs are being quoted $895 (120x55) for Eco and $1151 for the Hanstone. Does that jive with that other folks are seeing? I will say that the Specchio White is the most unique color- we wanted something with "sparkle" but not too "chunky" or too "busy" ... while not looking "dirty" and also having some "cooler" tones to mesh with the grey kitchen. Not asking for too much, right? Everything else out there is either too much bling, too busy, too taupe - the Specchio White just nailed everything we wanted. Unfortunately, I think we're in love and will end up paying for it :(...See MoreWhite cabinet paint color to match Montauk Quartz
Comments (45)Whoa, that’s horrible @Chritstine Hollern. I so sad and sorry to hear this. I wonder if there’s a company that can repair the chips. I had read negative comments on here about MSI, so that’s why I went with Hanstone. Also, our contractor has Montauk in his office/show room. So that’s what I went with but there was a lot of beautiful MSI colors and so many options. Maybe go back to the place you got the countertop from with pics? I think there’s a warranty with MSI....See MoreAnyone use Chantilly Hanstone for their counters?
Comments (1)IMO all of the plastic quartz counters that are trying to mimic real marble are going to be one of those items that will scream dated very soon. Why not look at real stone so much better for counters and so much more interesting too. I love white granites and honestly not more expensive than fake and just better. As for the exact one you need to go shopping and see what is out there . There is no way for a monitor to help choose color of anything and I will suggest before choosing the counter you make sure all your lighting is LED and I like 4000K but you could do 3500K but no less or those cabinets will look yellow. In you pic the cabinets look yellow BTW. I would wait until the cabinets are installed or at least those smaple in the kitchen where the lighting is in...See MoreHanstone Montauk Quartz cost?
