I love my wall art - have about 50 framed pieces in my home and have to switch some out seasonally. I can't imagine someone else being able to select the art for me. Every piece was picked because it spoke to me. Just bought a new print this weekend at the Lititz Fine Art Show - $30.00 and it will bring me joy every time I look at it. The same print may leave you feeling nothing at all. Good news is that late summer is a time of year when there are a lot of art shows. I find nicer pieces at Juried Art shows. The one I went to this weekend had 130 artists, each with their own style. One piece spoke to me and had to go home with me. I found another piece that I purchased as a Christmas gift for my niece - it was something I knew she would love. My sister went with me and found a piece for in her daughters bedroom, but it wasn't something I would buy and she wouldn't have bought the pieces I bought. Look up juried art shows near you and walk around. Many have a really good mix - something for everyone. Once you find something that screams "TAKE ME HOME WITH YOU" you will know it is right. If you do take it home with you it will bring you joy every time you look at it.

If you can change both fan and dining light, then I would have them complement. No recessed lights in the living room? If you must have the fan, then something that hugs the ceiling with a flush mount light too but have primary lighting with an arched lamp and other lamps. Something with silver metal for dining light would complement the kitchen stainless steel/chrome. The type of lighting depends on your style. Same for window fabrics and coloring. You have a neutral background everywhere- what are your favorite colors? Is there a rug in LR with color?

Happy Holidays everyone! Here’s a few pics from this year. I have been crazy busy as I’m sure everyone else is. I added a pencil tree to the family room where the ladder use to be. Really enjoying that since we spend alot of time in there. Julie I am still going to get that brass end table you found after the holidays! DH went a little crazy on the living room tree this year way too FAT we have plenty of room for all our special ornaments from throughout the years!
