So far 1/4 clients and neighbors that visit have been choosing the Bruce Park Avenue Makore as their favorite out of my samples in my home office room. One neighbor is buying it for her floors in her townhouse. She saw the samples in the window and knocked on my door. The other 1/4 like the Amendoim and the other 1/4 votes for the Brazilian Cherry. The last 1/4 feel I should go even lighter or even darker. I guess everyone has their own taste but it is amazing how when they pick out the Makore they tell me they like this wood since it has nice coloring, a nice grain and they love the glossy finish. When I tell them that sample is a laminate, they are so surprised and that one client asked if she can borrow the sample (I have a few small samples of each species or laminate to put them together to see how they look) to show her husband. She thanks me for helping her with her decision. I am still not sure but I like how the gloss picks up the color on my desk and it is difficult to scratch. Is the floor slippery to walk on?

Look into Coretec, Adura Max, Karndean, and Flooret for good quality click lock vinyl flooring. Unless you plan to self-install, I strongly recommend finding a local flooring company known for excellent quality and good installation. Take home samples and look at them in morning, afternoon, and evening light. Flooret does not sell to resellers, but they can probably recommend local installers. Weshipfloors.com has good prices on vinyl flooring, but I cannot recommend or not recommend as I have never purchased from them. They have a line of vinyl plank flooring called "Kryptonite," and it's pricing is very good. Hi Alexandra! I went with the SLCC floor in the Eden color. I’ve had it installed for almost 3 months now and absolutely love it. It’s soft enough on the feet but durable and so real looking. Most of my guests think its hardwood and are shocked when they find out the actual material. It’s super easy to clean and I LOVE that it’s waterproof and scratch resistant. No regrets here!

Check out Raintree by American OEM. You like yourself some hardwood surface? Check. You like the waterproof properties of a vinyl floor? Check. You like the price of the vinyl floor and the resale value of a engineered floor? Check. This floor is incredible and will add value to any home all the while giving your floor the longevity of a vinyl and an engineered hardwood substitute. Be careful however. It is a true hardwood veneer on top! Meaning you can and will scratch it with certain dog and human breeds! But as far as waterproof and stability goes, no other floor can beat it with a hardwood surface on top! I know this might be late for you, but hoping some other folks on here can find this information handy. The product itself is about a year old as of October 2020, so it's relatively new to the market, but it's American made (Tennessee) and is designed by a hardwood manufacturing company. If a hardwood company designing an SPC floor doesn't get you ripped, I don't know what you're doing on this thread!! Just a flooring guy trying to make your spot look decent.
