Frigidaire is made by Electrolux, but not the same features or fit and finish (build & materials). I have 2 Electrolux fridges and 1 freezer that are almost 3 yrs old. I think most of the problems with them were in older models? Ours work great. Haven't heard much bad about Electrolux ovens except flaking interiors that were taken care of. Bosch racks don't seem flimsy to me. Best you see some in person to decide what you and your wife like...Compare interiors, lighting, baking modes and features and decide based on your priorities. Take along some of your baking pans and see if things will fit the way you want.

I agree with the direction you are looking. A paler version of the background color will give a soft contrast, richer look and pull it together. The print is bold enough that you don't need to accentuate it with more in the wall color. I think I agree with Annie on the Celadon, but you'll need to see it in the room and next to the white and the fabric to check the tone and contrast. The Creme Fraiche looks like it would be great too. Besides checking the tones of the color, consider that the softer creme fraiche will make the fabric stand out as a bolder choice while the celadon will give less contrast but a brighter all over color to the room.

I think the very talented Celerygirl has the size you need for the art -- whether it's three works or just one -- spot on. Also the feel of the art is perfect. The whole room is gorgeous as she has it -- and notice that there is colour there, in the blue-grey in the art and the vibrant green of the plant. So measure out the equivalent space on your wall and go looking for that. And the curtains are just wonderful. I certainly don't dislike the idea of brighter colours in the art, I just think that this subtle approach is so much more calming and elegant.

You need to make that decision in your room with your light. What we see on our computer monitors may not look anything like what you see in real life. In fact the floor looks like a different color in your two photos, which should prove to you that it's impossible for anyone to pick the color for you long-distance on a website. What you could do is paint the walls the same white color as the trim. Also, are you painting before you install the new floor? Painting should come last.
