I sure do like the ideas already. Do a search on the first forum page for mgs by "Kirkus" as he has made some fantastic trellis out of tree branches, etc. The idea for using them for Christmas and holding decorations is great also. Either paint them or wrap red fabric strips around them to look like candycanes and then top with the star, gift boxes or snowflakes. I think those would look really cute. Or use them to hold faux pumpkins. I've been saving this pic for an idea. The pole in the pic is a porch or stair spindle. You could paint your poles orange and black and other bright halloween colors, nail on a wood top base to glue the pumpkin to and then stream down some colorful raffia with stars or moons attached to the bottom of the raffia or even hang down some fall leaf garland . These would swing in the wind and I think look really cute for the holidays.

nict: I have found the weeping type hoses to deliver a lot more water at the upstream end than the downstream end. This condition may be even worse in a 1/4" tube. Also, the longer the tube from it's attachment point to the terminal end the worse the uniformity. Fifty feet would be pushing it. sometimes I'll make a loop where the tubing follows the plants you want watered and then the comes back along the same path until the low flowing end meets the beginning end. The total flow for the area is more uniform and you will have to adjust your irrigation time down to account for the increased flow. Yes, it takes twice as much tubing. I do all of my irrigation with drip tape. If it is the same stuff you were talking about, drip tape doesn't bend very well and was never meant to. It does deliver water extremely uniformly though. Many tapes will deliver the same amount along entire lengths exceeding 1000 ft.. Drip tapes can be turned 90 degrees with elbows made for drip tubing but I gather you are talking more about a meandering sort of path in a 50 length. The weeping tubes work well for those meandering paths if you can tolerate the lack of uniformity. I buried 1/2" weeping tubes in my raspberry beds but the tubes are only 12' long, that short length lessens the uniformity problem.

Excavate around the pipe, cut an ABS coupling in 1/2, apply adhesive liberally to both the pipe and coupling halfs, install and clamp with a 5" hose clamp. Backfill, water consolidate and tamp the filled area. The emphasis should be on the integrity of the driveway, not the pipe.

Unscrew the aerator on the faucet and take it to the store to find something with the same threading and depth. Most of all the depth, for a while it was on by about 1/2 a thread and could pop off if I looked at it cross eyed. The other side needs to be hose thread but that's easy. I've bought some that didn't work so the one I've got is treasured! The ones that didn't work looked like the one posted earlier but that's my faucets, yours may be different. This works well for my purposes, washing dogs in warm water outside once a month and changing 90 gallons of water in my aquarium weekly. I don't dare shut the water in the hose off but suspect I'm being cowardly more than it's a potential disaster. The aerator hasn't gotten damaged in 18 years with only 2 faucets. I've no experience with quick connects used for dishwashers and such.
