My wife strongly prefers Ken, he’s my preference too but only slightly. I just like the game. host doesn’t matter much to me.

They both have their pros and cons, but dont we all. Alex set the standard although he could be testy at times. I enjoy the show and especially look forward to it when someone like Amy or James is having a long run.

I like them both.

After all the controversy and hissyfits of last year, I am sure they are taking the easy road now. I can't blame them. I love the show and will watch it no matter who hosts.

I still liked David Ferber best of the guest hosts.

I think Mayim will grow into the role, she's already better than in the beginning. Ken is better, too, and just seems more like a game show host.

I only see the show on my once yearly visits to my mother. I miss Alex. Our lineup is Jeapordy, Wheel of Fortune and then some Britcoms. Wheel is my favorite game show. I have a chance of actually getting things right!

I am fine with them. My only quibble has been they must have some newer judge people as well as they are being inconsistent with acceptable spellings and such. I do know the hosts have no say on such stuff despite being blamed for it. It is like correct answers. I have taken exception as to what is correct but that was even in the old days. I have noticed that final Jeopardy has gotten more obscure. That is a plus. It should be hard.

Yes on the judging. They need to be faster and more consistent.

Ken’s voice rakes my ears. But I’m slowly learning to tune it out. I like Mayim, she is getting better as a host.

I haven’t watched since Alex died. Too much controversy and switching judges.

I don't find Ken attractive, his features are a bit comical to me.

I'm curious to see if fans will show preference by only watching when their favorite is hosting.

I can't imagine a Jeopardy fan watching only when their favorite is hosting. As many here know, I find Mayim irritating at times, but I'm still a faithful viewer. The show is all about the contestants and the questions. I mean answers. :-)

I read the article Dedtired linked above, and all the expansive changes planned for the Jeopardy! brand make me a little uneasy. I like the idea of a prime-time Celebrity Jeopardy, but I wonder how they're going to fit so many special events into the regular schedule. It almost sounds as though the current success of the show went to the producer's head, and now he's thinking big. But bigger isn't always better.

By the way, I noticed when Ken is hosting there's no little pause between a contestant giving their answer to a Daily Double and the host responding. Maybe because Mayim is new they want to confirm the answer for her before she says anything.

Ken has a youthful, maybe slightly goofy face, not hardly the appearance of a male Hollywood sex symbol, but he wears his clothes well. I don't find his looks a distraction. If you want to talk about distractions, I don't understand why Bialek seems to consistently favor frumpy attire more suitable for someone her mother's age.

PS - when I heard the term Celebrity Jeopardy, I couldn't help but immediately think of the recurring Jeopardy parody skits on Saturday Night Live that were usually quite funny. Especially the lines of the cast member who played Sean Connery.
