Hi all, Yeah, I know I don't come by often, but I read more than I post. Apparently BJ has been away for awhile? I saw the post by Susan asking if anyone was food combining, and it looks like no one replied. What is everyone here doing now? I think I eat closer to level 2, staying away from sugar and white flour, etc, and most carbs, even whole grain. I actually do better when I stay away from even the healthy carbs. I try to do lots of veggies, and still do my chocolate low-carb protein shakes. I haven't lost any more, though. It's frustrating, for as faithful as I am to eating "right". I remember how excited and happy I was when I lost 34 lbs. after only 3 months of following SS. My body adjusted, though, unfortunately. I've been watching Americon Idol, too. They are all so good now, it's hard to see any of them leave. I've been watching Heroes, too, and Office Space, and renting DVD's from Netflix. Just finished watching Pursuit Of Happiness, and currently on The Secret. I'm totally into computer virtual worlds now, and playing Myst Online, Morrowind, and Return To Mysterious Island. I've finished 10 oil paintings since I got here to Hawaii. I know some of you still remember when I moved. I'm not at all sorry I moved here, as it's a good place, but I get lonely, too. Not lonely enough to go through the winters anymore though. I think they will come and visit me again either this summer or next. My granddaughters are awesome girls, and I couldn't be happier with them or prouder of them. I'll keep checking in with you. You are all important to me though I haven't been much involved lately. Good Friday morning! I've already worked out and had breakfast. It looks like rain is heading our way. We've been teased with droplets all week, but nothing happened. Today it's dark and muggy, so we have a good chance! Happy birthday, Magic Kitty! Hope to see you posting again when you can. I'm going over to my youngest Dson's house tomorrow for the weekend. We'll all go to Alexis's soccer game at 1, then Dson and DDIL are going to a birthday bash, and I get those girls all to myself! I'll be back Sunday afternoon. This time, I'm planning ahead and taking snack foods and ingredients I'll need to have in order to stay on WW. Not going to get caught without this time!!! I love the feel of mud squishing through my toes. I was allowed to play in it when I was little, I let my sons play in it, and I'd encourage my DGDs to do it also. Nothing else quite like it! I've FINALLY finished those little cloth books for Aubrie!!! I am such a procrastinator sometimes. I know she'll be happy to see them. She loves books and having people read to her. When she stubbed her toe the other night while I was talking to my son on the phone, she tried to shove her new "Bambi" book through the phone to have me read it to her! Can't wait to do that in person. Marci, I know you're going to have a wonderful trip. We'll miss you, but so happy you're getting to do this. McPeg, enjoy your time with your in-laws! BJ, do tell us what kind of act you're doing tonight. I'm betting it's something very interesting! Dee, I noticed that you take a Geritol Complete at bedtime. Is that a multi-vitamin? Does it not bother your sleep to take it then? I think that I've actually read somewhere that it was most effective to take a vitamin then, but I worry about getting too much "energy" or whatever by taking it then. I would love to see it, just purely out of curiousity, but I know that once those visions are in my head I will never get over it. I still have visions about Jaws I everytime I am in the ocean! You have inspired me to pull out my WW material. I am a life time member from way back, and have gone back several times since then but could never just get back into it. However, after hearing your stories and others I am inspired. I even went on eBay yesterday and bought the points calculator. I really need to do something about my health and the weight is the biggest factor. My cholesterol is high, I just had to go back for another reading on my mamogram (which turned out to be ok) but it was enough to totally freak me out. So thanks for inspiring me. I hope I can do as well as you! Blondie! Speaking of hair color, I just had mine done yesterday and I went a little darker than normal. I have always been a brunette, then this past summer I went a little blonder, then a little more blonder, etc. When I was leaving for my appt. yesterday DH asked if I would ever have my real color back because he missed it. I don't know if that was sweet or not, but I went a little darker. Next appt. I will go a little more darker and have some highlights put in. Raeanne, I would love to see your painting. I have such an appreciation for people that can paint anything after visiting the Museum of Fine Arts. The best I can do is paint a wall!
