Yes I recommend and have used several of the Nirsoft tools, they will tell you on their site that it may set off your AV but it is a false positive due to the nature of the actual tool but you can only use them on your own pc to get your own passwords or by that I mean the pc you are currently using.

I try to read post like this one so I can avoid situations where I might encounter problems being discussed, but so many of the posts do not mention how to avoid them. When something is posted like this one could you please give some insight into what may have caused the problem. The poster at the link said maybe "FB" (guessing they meant FaceBook), but what action on their part may have caused this? I know visiting websites with games, chatting and they are inter-active doesn't just cause you problems. These infections, malware etc. don't just come from no where and they take an action on our part to get into our computers so it would be terrific to know what we need to avoid in the first place. You can "recall" a message that hasn't been opened by the recipient if you and the recipient are both on the same corporate e-mail network and the ability to recall messages has been activated by the mail administrator. Having said that, however, it's not always a "hidden recall." For example, if you work someplace that uses Microsoft Exchange servers with Microsoft Outlook as the e-mail client, you can recall a message if the recipient hasn't opened it, BUT the recipient gets another e-mail that states in the subject line that you want to recall the message, and they have to click on it (the recall notice) to allow it to retract the original message. Oftentimes, the recipient will become curious as to why you want to recall the message, so they'll open the original message to read it (before clicking on the recall notice). Then it cannot be recalled. I fondly remember the days when we used WordPerfect Office for DOS, with WordPerfect e-mail. It allowed you to see if a message had been opened by the recipient; and if it hadn't, you could recall it without the recipient ever knowing that you'd sent a message... The good old days!
