Taking the Beach Cities exit from State Hwy 60 to S.H. 91 on March 6, to get back to Westchester: There are many different routes we can take between Palm Springs and our house in L.A. and so we try to take the ones with the least traffic on any particular day. I believe Big Bear mountain is in the background. Yesterday I took this route to return to Cathedral City, and there was still a small amount of snow on the tops of the mountains, but it was 91° when I got to Cathedral City, and so if feels like summer has returned. Time to start going back in the pool, which I did not do last winter, as it is too expensive to heat the pool when the weather is 72°.

Hmm, I know I’m not going anywhere. He’s stuck with me. I think maybe his 1948 Oliver 88 that his dad farmed with, but he’s going to have to get over today’s loss first. 🤠

Ginger in my back yard, photo taken yesterday. This ginger has a strong, sweet scent that I especially like, and I grow it for the scent.

This root of a fallen tree reminds me of some kind of creature. It looks almost zombie like. So a zombie creature :-).
