Prove that movers/shakers give a d-- about senior-transport design

Consider this rhetorical, as I strongly doubt anyone can find this. But if any of you can actually find me an online link clearly depicting a well-designed bus for senior-citizen transport (which takes into account those who use wheelchairs OR walkers OR are still mobile) then I award you a "figurative" nobel prize in advance.

Such design should include:

  • sturdy pull-down armrests (in case of ongoing jostling of one's painful-spine due to potholes)
  • also well-situated Non-sharp bars intended for anchoring shopping-carts,
  • also clearance for too-wide shopping carts, in case the driver stupidly anchors a wide-scooter against protocol at the front of bus, and then (to add insult to injury) stupidly delivers the other passenger first instead of 2nd, thus not allowing him/her passage between the anchored scooter-wheelchair and exit.
  • knowing tendencies to go on tangents, note this post is about senior-transport design (this post is not about shopping cart design), so i'm not interested in links to same. Anyway, I know them all.

I should add that the driver may potentially be intimidatingly authoritarian, thus no reasonable requests allowed of him/her. Which is why compassionate transport-design ought to be "fail-safe", bearing in mind exactly those authoritarians who ignore standards of protocol and courtesy.
