It did rain this morning but not enough to do anything but raise the humidity. Bob and I dug some seedlings to throw on the compost pile and he said the ground was totally dry. Between showers it was a good day for photographing because it was mostly overcast.

Bob loves Oscie Whatley's daylilies such as Deliberate Pace.

Evermore Greatful is our daughter's daylily. It's a large flower, but I wish the red were more saturated.

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made has rather unique flowers, but it hasn't been a great grower for us.

Glowing Quasar finally made an appearance.

Heavenly United We Stand has started blooming. I think I can see why this one won the Stout Medal.

Hey Soul Sister was showing her dark face today.

Horns and Thorns is a Lambertson that has done reasonably well here.

Horsing Around is finally making a comeback. It was in the section of the garden where a pine tree smashed the daylilies.

This is the seedling known as Kaskel's best edge. It has been used a lot in hybridizing, but we haven't gotten anything out of it.

Krakatoa Katie is not as double as she sometimes is.

I have probably posted this one before, but The Bride of Dracula is one of our favorites.

Ultimate Design is potted and is doing quite well. It has two pods on it too.

Here are a few seedlings from today.

Belle of Ashwood X Gypsy Rose

These 1st year orange ones are making Bob happy. They are Bob Marley X Noid, which some on this forum have indicated might be Opera Elegance. These are so bright they call to you from across the garden.

Chomp X Happy Holidays to You

New Tangerine Twist X Susan Ruoff

This one is a small, maybe even miniature tetraploid--Everything Nice and Neat X Daddy's Heart.

When I had the shower door guy out to measure, he made a point of checking how high the shower head was. Ours is on a sliding bar, so it can go up pretty high. We have a 6" curb and a 6' shower wall/door height, and it is fine with our standard 8' ceiling. Our "gap" is 18". Remember also that this "gap" benefits the air circulation in your shower to help dry it out so that you don't get moldy grout. Unless you have a very high shower head (very tall shower user) you should be fine.

You'll never know till you try with GE, Sue! :D. Rooting for you if you do! After seeing Denis's GE, it sure makes me want to get more! The volunteers are cute little things and I found some for the first time last year. All are various shades of green with some variation in the shape of leaves and one with a very faint mark I discovered today. I'll have to take some pics and see if it shows. Your yellowish one sounds interesting! Could be something special! Enjoy moving your hostas around and take some pics too - would love to see them.

Ok, that is a very blanket question, are you purely asking for decor advice or are we taking on a major budget and real $$ changes? 1. what is with the white crown trip around the exhaust pipe for the vent hood? 2. a counter depth fridge would help 3. the backsplash is dated the counters are fresh Dining 1. put the table in the center of the room and remove the table cloth 2. center the globe art piece to the wall and lower, in fact, all your pictures need to be much much lower, and the smaller ones need to be grouped together more collage style. master bath 1. replace the counter and faucet 2. paint the cabinets and add hardware 3. frame the mirror 4. tile the floor ( carpet and water dont mix) living room 1. lower the artwork 2. declutter the top of the tv console a bit 3. a round coffee table would help you a lot, possibly even two nesting tables that are small and could be pulled out to use. master bed 1. add some curtains to the windows to soften 2. add some storage like an ottoman at the end of the bed to put the 'junk" in. 3. lower and group photos and art. So far you on track, I like your living room and your art pieces. The new shower doors are pretty!

If you google "moen shower handle sticks out too far", you will find numerous posts regarding the problem. Many of the posts discuss the errors in the installation instructions provided my Moen. I know this because my daughter had her bathroom remodeled 10 ago and used a Moentrol valve that was installed exactly according to the instructions provided and valve stuck out too far just like that photo from the OP. Unfortunately it was too late to change the install without tearing out tile and there was no access from the other side of the tiled wall. It looked ridiculous. I called Moen and they blamed it on installer error but they didn't hesitate to send a adapter escutcheon piece at no charge. Supposedly it is an $80 part. I think by giving it to us free they are admitting without verbalizing it that they were in the wrong. So call or email Moen about the problem. Hopefully they will have an adapter piece for you particular faucet model. I don't have a before picture but here is how it looks with the added piece.

I am happy with Hey Soul Sister and glad that you called it to our attention. Have only seen the non-solid version so far. Last year, Evermore Greatful was very impressive; will see what this year's weather produces. It does sometimes have the askew petal inherited from Worth It All. And the red seems especially unsaturated this year. Others also seem to like The Bride of Dracula, as I don't see it for sale anywhere. As usual, promising seedlings.

Second Horizon is really pretty and I like New Tangerine. Glowing Quasar does seem to glow. The seedlings all look good but that Bob Marley seedling is a stunner!

They are all so beautiful!! Evermore Grateful, Horns and Thorns, Bride of Dracula and Ultimate Design. Also loving the seedilings.

I really like that edge of Kaskel's Best Edge. Hope it passes that on to something you do........Isn't that New Tangerine TWIST? I loved the early color on mine. Color didn't hold up as well as I had hoped as the day wore on but it would have been unusual if it had...............I think the double form on Krakatoa Katie in your pictures is still very good. I didn't realize the base color was so gold. I was hoping for more yellow........I like your small flowered Everything Nice And Neat x seedling. Good round form with a nicely colored edge...............Maryl

You must have a lot blooming now. Glowing Quasar looks so pretty glowing in your photo, and the colors on Horns and Thorns are so pleasing. Bride of Dracula also stands out to me. Being a pink lover, my favorite of the seedlings is the Belle of Ashwood kid. I like the shade of pink with the gold edge.

Horns and Thorns is my favorite of the named ones. My favorite seedling is Bob Marley X Noid. It is indeed bright!

Glowing Quasar does seem to glow and Bride of Dracula looks good.. Horsing Around looks good as does Soul Sister, but looking at the Bob Marley seedling and the Chonmps X Happy Holidays to you, is where I am really happy with what I see, Wow! On the Marley seedl;ling. Just Wow!
