Debra: Hadn't even thought about SF being a bud builder (or any other daylily for that matter). I try and tidy up spent scapes quickly, so the only daylily I've known to be a bud builder was Smoky Mountain Autumn which was hidden back in amongst other daylilies and usually missed my tidying efforts. Maryl - The main reason I bought Judy's Jewel was to cross with former Valentine Sweetheart. It's in the same color class, but larger. So the fact it doesn't multiply much and isn't very tall isn't important to me. It's a big fader too, where former VS holds its color much better. I'm trying to get a taller Val. Swhrt with a bloom size of 7 inches or more. I have some buds on JJ, but I don't know if they'll make it in this heat. I've also crossed it with Dancing Flamingo both seasons. Debra

Arya really loves watching Bastian and B loves her. He is always bringing toys and kissing her. it is really cute.

schoolhouse, I know! it is too too fast! She is over 3 months old already, she's rolling over and smiling and "talking". And she is my last newborn ever. So while I'm delighted she is advancing, I'm sad I'll never have that teeny tiny little helpless baby again.

Don't give up! You have some years to wait, but they will pass quickly, and someday (hopefully) one or both of your children will present you with their own little newborn baby and you will fall in love all over again.

Oly I didn't have Bastian until I was 37 and I'm 39 now. If my kids wait as long as I did, I'll be 80!

We are definitely lucky that they get along so far. I hope that continues as she grows and becomes mobile and Bastian actually has to deal with her having opinions rather than just being like a little doll he can kiss and show things to.

The bottoms of his feet are always filthy. We just cannot get the kid to keep shoes on and we've mostly given up trying unless we're out in public somewhere where it matters.
