Scarlet Pimpernel is showing off for you today, so many buds to go! it is good the two daylilies you split are recovering, they are both beauties.

Scarlet Pimpernel makes a very showy clump. But it looks purple instead of scarlet in your photo. Jack Spratt and Prismatic are looking pretty too!

Not much grass left around here. There is lawn on the north side of my house between the driveway and my house. Of course, now theres less of it because I had my new 7 foot square raised iris bed build along in there. Otherwise all over the rest of the yard there are these grassy path areas. Those are what was left over of my used to be lawn after the garden beds just kept expanding and expanding.

Thanks,,Kate. Making Rainbows has nice big blooms to be a short plant, and they stand up nicely. Jellyroll Morton reminds me of Clown Parade in being very photogenic. The cats are just nosy. Today I was picking blueberries and Spatter couldn't not help herself. she kept watching the entire time (and I picked five quarts) and had to keep checking to see what I was putting in the bowl. they follow all over the garden when I take photos or pick blooms or weed or put out mulch. At least two and maybe three or four of them will be there. They are now playing with my botanical labels. kay

I missed this one somehow. Boy, you do have a lot of clumps going on. Hard to pick out a number one from this good group, but I'm not as picky as some on scape height, so I'll go with Woodside Amethyst. I like the white star on its petals in particular............Maryl

Very nice clump show, Brad. I particularly like Prismatic and Scarlet Pimpernel, Woodside Amethyst may be short and small, but it is a lovely color.

Scarlet Pimpernel is very dark burgundy red here, but almost every bloom has been splotchy. After seeing Brad's pic, I know that I need to relocate it.

Some great clumps here!! I love all the clumps-something about a bunch of flowers blooming at once just makes them lovelier! That is quite the foliage and bloom clump on Scarlet Pimpernel!! Nice showing!!
