I'd shorten the drapes and sheers so they do not crumple on the floor. You could add twice the number of sheer panels.

Could you post the room dimensions with doors and windows? Perhaps there is a different arrangement possible?

With very tall headboards, it may be better to skip the art, or to have two portrait-oriented items, one over each night table.

Can the dresser be placed opposite the bed? I feel like the bed having to be just off of center is throwing the room off. Also agree with everything P. Banos stated.

Since the headboard is such a statement, I wouldn’t hang the small painting above the bed.

You're right, the lamps are too small and don't have the right volume to pair with the bedside tables; chunky with chunky and slender with slender. Overall, the lamp on top of the table should reach 58-64" above the floor. If you read or text in bed the shade should be at shoulder height when sitting there. Bed needs to be centered on a wall. I'm sure the closet is behind you when taking the photo, so that makes for a difficult arrangement. Ideally, bed should be opposite the entry. Your mirror is too large for the dresser and no, you don't need the art above the bed. The rug may be too large; can you use it in another room and downsize here?

Love the new dresser - great storage and nice color. Who cares if it is too big or doesn't quite fit in the room? Life is not perfect. The mirror, however, needs to find another location in your house. It is much too big. It also really emphasizes that this is a room full of rectangles. Can you get a round mirror or a vertical mirror to offset the dresser shape? Maybe you could paint it to match the dresser.

I'd think about a chandelier too. It would help off set the heavy weighted feeling of the room, bring your eye up a bit, and could add some much needed circular or spherical presence.

Mirror seems to overwhelm the room - if you want, tell what it measures?

Thanks all for your comments. I have my workdesk opposite my bed. Unfortunately, there’s no other space in my house for my desk, so it needs to be in the bedroom.
I do think now that rectangular mirror is probably not a fit here. I’ll try and sell it, and get something oval or circular. My rug is 8x10, which seems to be right for a queen bed. Most of you suggested to not have an art over bed, so I’ll go return it.
As for the bedside lamps, do you all think maybe I should have sconces that hang from the ceiling? Any other suggestions are welcomed.

Hanging bedside lamps look nice, but with your off-center bed I wouldn't suggest the trouble & expense of adding the wiring in the ceiling.

I think your art might look good above the desk area.

Art above the desk, that might work. I’ll try that. As for nightstands, I will keep them now for now until I can find something better that’s not too expensive.

If the lampshades are fabric, you can dye them to beige. I've done that by mixing up dye in a bucket and dipping until you get the right shade.

Now add some more sheers and shorten all the curtains!

And try turning the mirror 90 degrees, maybe where the shelves are.

Bet the room feels larger this way.

Don't know if this would work. The wall to right of window seems wider than the left side. Perhaps put the desk under the shelves. Move the dresser to the big blank wall. Turn the mirror and put on the wall where the dresser used to be.

What if you moved the dresser to the blank wall and place the desk between the closet doors?

I know that was the original placement of the desk.

Then place the small painting above the desk.

The desk looks a little like its been crammed into a corner.

And if you work from home and spend a lot of time at the desk, you don't want to feel as if you've been jammed into a corner.

Dont think dresser on the blank wall is a good idea, there’s not a lot of space between the bed and the wall. My picture was taken with a 0.5x zoom, so might look really wide there but it isnt.
Also, the desk can’t be moved under the shelves. It will block entry to the washroom.

Get a power strip for the cords hanging in the air so they can be hidden behind the bed.

I would just do some artwork

A mint-colored chest of drawers, in my opinion, is a very interesting solution for your bedroom. However, this dresser attracts all the attention. All the rest of the furniture and decor elements are either gray, white, or beige, so a colored dresser is really something that attracts attention. But if you want to achieve this effect, then that's good. I'm inspired by people who can paint furniture themselves, so it looks new. I often wanted to paint the bookshelves in our bedroom by myself, but my wife always dissuaded me. I've watched a lot of BEDROOM DECOR IDEAS on YouTube. So next summer, I'll definitely do the remodeling of the apartment.
