Dining Room - need help with wall art/accessories!
Comments (92)You're dining room looks lovely, I love the neutral wall colors. I believe these work by Avaulte artist Bronle Crosby would be a lovely compliment to the room. The first one is titled 'Birds Eye View" and is 24"x18". I believe the neutrality of this painting along with the pops of color would be a beautiful addition to the room. This next image by Avaulte artist Bronle Crosby is titled 'Still Waters' and is 36"x26.5". The simplicity and stillness of the image would be a lovely feature to the dining room. I would also consider looking at works by Avaulte artist Barbara Trcinski who creates amazing figurative paintings. These could add a lovely pop of color and be a beautiful statement piece within the living room. The first is titled 'Shondra in a Purple Dress' and is 20"x16". The warm colors of the painting would compliment the wall color of the dining room well. The next work by Avaulte artist Barbara Trcinski is 'Chrysanthemums' and is 30"x24". Again I belive this could add a beautiful pop of color to the room. If you wanna see more original by either of these artists or learn more about Avaulte here are links to Bronle Crosby and Barbara Trcinski's creator pages on Avaulte. Let me know what you think! Comments (2)For starters, the chandelier is hung way too high. Extend the rods so lights are at least 34” over the table.. Now, guests can see their food and see the opposite table companions. The entire area looks so tight. How do your guests pull back chairs and walk around (should they need the powder room)? Could we see more photos of dining area and the living area which seems to abut?...See MoreLooking for wall art/art-work suggestions for my living room
Comments (17)I think an abstract landscape/water piece, with some color, would look fabulous there … and play into your wonderful views. It would also bring warmth in, while keeping with the very modern style of the room. I’d look on Etsy, on gallery sites, Ebay, and/or visit local places to find a piece that speaks to you. This is a prominent spot — I wouldn’t buy a big piece of generic wall filler. Art here could be the soul of the room. https://magazine.artland.com/top-10-landscape-artists-in-modern-and-contemporary-art/ I do like the idea of three b/w prints you posted — it brings to mind water movement....See MoreWall art color and style for a transitional dining room
Comments (11)Since it’s a lot of wall space, I think a grouping would be nice. Love that paint color, this room has it, too: If you have smaller walls needing art, I like one framed piece: Instead of one mirror, a grouping: The green in this art looks wonderful with blue: This is a nice grouping idea (sizes): A striking antique plate rack (maybe find one not quite this big) ;) Or just plates, traditionally hung: I saved this a while back for the gorgeous wallpaper …. was thinking if you found a paper you like, you could frame pieces of it, or do panels: These are papers: Obviously you don’t need as large as these, showing for the colors of the paper and gold frames: Instead of regular plates, they used a collection of oyster plates. There are a ton of them you can find online....See Morehappyleg
