Suggestions to add navy in living room
Comments (37)I think you can do this without breaking the bank.. If you want navy (and use caution about the red white and blue thing....) 1) paint the wall behind the tv. 2) Go to goodwill and pick up some junque. Buy a can of spray paint. Instant co-ordinated accessories. 3) This time of year throws are on clearance everywhere. Get one to add color to the sofa. 4) Likewise, go the fabric store and head straight for the clearance table for a yard or 2 of fabric. Pillow covers are insanely easy to sew, especially if you don't need them to have a closure for washing....for example you just want them to last a few years. 6) You could paint the little table. 7) I have re-upholstered an ottoman. Not too difficult if you take your time. Just use the fabric you take off as a pattern. OR you can make a slipcover (even easier) Check Craigslist for "art"...or make your own with a canvas and various width tape for some graphic design. All you have to do is pick a color......See MoreWhat curtains for dining room?
Comments (7)I think you could pull off any of your suggestions. Consider putting them only on the outsides of your windows, extending to the walls ... the inside draperies look a bit squished with the cabinet you have placed between them. If you do this, I'd do the black and white checked....See MoreBedwoom wall colors that pair well with navy blue living room
Comments (2)Since you're looking for harmony through the whole apartment, can you pull a color for the bedroom's accent wall from the den's wallpaper or a color with a similar tone? What colors are in the wallpaper? Or since your accent colors in the navy living room are gold and white, maybe a bold gold for the accent wall? I don't think a teal would flow very well from the navy....See MoreNavy Blue Dining Chairs & Black/White Living Room
Comments (1)Yes: choose blue and black and white theme for the dining room. Get some blue on the black sofa and over it with art....See Morechloebud
