1/2" vs 5/8" vs 3/4" engineered floor

We are finalizing the floor selection for our house. We prefer 7" planks for design reasons.

We are choosing between a Belgiqa floor which is available in 7.5" planks with 1/2" thickness and 4mm wear layer, and a Legno Bastone floor which is available in 8.6" planks with 3/4" thickness and a 6mm wear layer.

The Belgiqa floor is the better one from an interior design perspective - better color, and the 7.5" plank fits our design better than the 8.6".

The concern is whether the 1/2" floor is too thin. We are building in Atlanta, so we have wood joists and a standard sub floor. It is not concrete. We did install Rockwool, resilient channel, and 5/8" drywall to minimize sound transmission between floors.

We want the house to feel solid and well built. Are wondering if the 1/2" floor is too thin or whether it will be okay?
