Comments (3)Jeff, I'm in Birmingham and we share the same climate. You will need bring it inside on cold nights and days. On those days when the temps are in the 40 and 50s, you can put it outside. On days and nights when the temps drop below 38 degrees, I would bring it inside. The easiest way is to buy a set of hand-trucks. Get the ones with inflatable rubber tires. Load it up and push it outside beside a door where you go in and out every day or at the end of the driveway where you park. Leave it sitting on the hand-trucks. Make it a habit to decide every afternoon if the tree needs to come inside. When you see the tree as you go inside, you will remember to move it if needed. BTW, hand-trucks are one of the best gardening item I ever bought....See MoreFinally got my new camera
Comments (21)Barry it has a bunch of settings. I used to do so manual photography when I was in college and appreciate being able to control things like ISO, depth of field etc. It is amazing when I reviewed my photos in macro I can see what the plants need. I am going to send some to shutterbug and have them do some prints like 11 x 14 just $ 5 bucks. Thanks for the tip. Wildflower I was an abused kid. Happy Birthday Merry Christmas all rolled into one. Now I celebrate it on the 1st. It is a lot easier that way. Birthday cake and Christmas Turkey do not mix real well. If I could I would let it slide by. Barbara was in Rockport today and drove by I could tell you were not there. It looked like my yard. LOL You manicure yours. Holler on the cell when you get there. I do not need anything. I would just kill those brugs. Sure I will post pictures of you new garden. You are a lot better gardener than I am. I have to have survivors to have a chance....See MoreI finally got my new W/D... Comments (2)I really know nothing about these machines but I will say I would think that you should be able to set any spin speed on the Normal cycle anyway. With towels, jeans, sheets you need a fast spin. I would call them and ask about this....See MoreGot my first quote back today
Comments (18)laranbrian, to post your photos directly: 1. find your photo and "copy image location." I do this on my Mac laptop by tapping two fingers on my motion pad thingie while the cursor is on the photo (what's it called? the one where you drag your finger around to make the page move up and down); this makes a list come up and I select "copy image location." If you have a pc type computer, this may may work differently-experiment. 2. In your post where you want your photo to appear, a) type img src=" [this means image source is"___"] b) paste in the copied image location c) type in another set of quotation marks and a space d) type in /img and finish with > [the means end of image tag] This will produce: Sorry about the word descriptions of how to write the code, but if you actually write the code out, you get the picture. If you write out pieces of it, you get a broken link symbol. I vaguely recall there's a way to avoid that, but I don't remember how....See More- 4 years ago
