My mistake, 'Creepy' did go through. I guess there are those who like that type of thing, but I'm not one of them. To me she seems, I don't know, depressing? Sinister? Even kind of evil. And she did win in Asia. I've got mixed emotions about someone winning the show in one country, then coming to another country and entering the same show. Doesn't really seem quite fair to me. And I've always had a question in my mind about rules for contestants. I wonder what, if any, qualifications they have to meet in order to audition. The group that got the Golden Buzzer were fantastic! I can easily see them winning the whole thing! And I actually laughed out loud at the lady stand-up comedian, she was really funny! I have seen trained cats before, once at Fiesta Texas, and once in a Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey circus matinee. But neither act was any where near as good as last night's cats were. I must have fallen asleep. I spent the day shopping for & planting 14 one gallon containers of perennials. I had to go play the 9 year old opera singer. She is GOOD! BLEW ME AWAY! And adorable! I'm looking forward to Simon wearing a rainbow glitter T-shirt! ♥ The father who lost his wife, made me tear up...but don't think he'll go very far. The red and black clad dancers were a Vegas Show...I'd pay to see that again....and again..... I liked the comedian.....8 years of performing was good prep for AGT, THIS will get him noticed, hopefully a bigger paycheck when he does BIGGER shows.

Schoolhouse - I'll watch it all and hope that as the season develops it improves. Perhaps we're getting a condensed version since this season is only 10 episodes. The producers are hoping the ratings will be high enough to warrant a renewal. It wasn't bad and perhaps I should have added that I've read Edith Wharton and Henry James many times over the years and I may have been expecting the finesse and subtlety that are evident in their works. To be honest that isn't a fair comparison. I've always been fascinated by 'Novels of Manners' - The Age of Innocence, the Forsyth Saga, Jane Austen's works etc and really enjoyed shows like Downton Abbey, Upstairs, Downstairs. The premise holds true - The Gilded Age , especially in the Northeast, was a time of rigid social constraints where one's wealth and social standing determined your future. Gizmo - A few years ago I had the opportunity to spend a wonderful afternoon in the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum. I knew about the infamous art thefts but I wasn't aware of her personal history. Yes, I watched it last night. And laughed till I had tears running down my face over that last act. Or rather, the way the last act ended. The act itself wasn't all that great. That guy usually isn't. It didn't start over again here, it was followed by a new program. Think it was called 'Snake in the Grass' or something like that. I didn't watch it, I'm not into snakes or survivalist programs, or whatever it was. Rusty
