Comments (5)Michael, my name is randy and i have a small farm in ne montana which is zone 4 for growing. i operate a parrot rescue up here and i was wondering if you could send my some apple tree starts that you could recommend for this zone. i have 13 apple trees that produce some small apples which have good taste just do not grow many. the fresh apples helps to feed the parrots we rescue and on this farm i would like to start growing more fruits for them, i could send you tomato, squash, pumpkin or salad green seeds or hot peppers in exchange and i would gladly help with postage, i have like 20 varieties of peppers, 30 types of tomatoes and variuos squashes and so on. please let me know my email is aplace2fledge@yahoo.com...See MoreHow long will apples continue to grow in size?

Comments (5)Hi, Pierre, I live in Rome and confirm the gardens already suggested in this thread are all worthwile to visit, the gardens "Della Landriana" included. Over the last decade I went there twice a year for the spring and fall horticultural show that has become a classic among Italian garden lovers. The Landriana gardens extend over an area of more than 10 hectares, tended throughout the year by a host of dedicated gardeners and I never ever detected signs of "bad neglect" as stated by Maurizio. I'm wondering what he might be up to, anyway, this forum is there for everyone to express their opinions and I wanted to give you mine. If anyone was looking for further evidence, just take a look at the photo gallery telling their own story. http://www.aldobrandini.it/sito/giardi/galleria.php Wishing you a nice time over here elkey...See MoreThis is what lockdown looks like Rome style...

I actually spotted the camera that was taking the pictures. Imagine how wonderful,it would be to wander a tourist- free Rome, provided they were t in the midst of a pandemic.
