Finally spring is here

Here's a part of it....

My backyard is my driveway so here is a picture of part of the front yard. Water company recently installed that meter, so I need to plant something in front of it.

It's a wild mess from so much rain, I really need to do something with those cider blocks. The fence line is being cleaned up slowly. This in one half:

The other side. You missed the blooming wood hyacynths to the left, in front of the tomato cage. I have another huge Birdie bed going in to the far right, where the logs are.

Compared to the other photos here, mine is a bit sad - but my house is walking distance to two supermarkets, my dentist, my GP, my physio, Main Street shops and dozens of cafes and restaurants, plus the beach.

jmm, I think it looks great. My sister has a small back yard, in the middle of the city and loves it for the same reason you love yours.

@Kathsgrdn, looks like you can get a lot of produce out of that small amount of space using those stacked pots. How are they anchored?

jrb451, they just sit inside one another. Once in place they don't move around. There's a watering system that starts at the top also and trickles down the entire system. You can buy different configurations/sizes also and a wheeled base to turn it. I thought I might have to go back and get that but it seems to get enough sun on all sides so no turning needed. I'm hoping to grow some greens in it over the Winter.
