I like traditional, modern, casual. To be honest Im not quiet clear on my style. This room use to be be more formal and we are trasitioning it to be utilized more, maybe add a tv. My biggest dilemma is whether to get a sofa or sectional and furniture placement. Please Help!!!!

Yes I do like that. We will be painting the cabinet amd keeping it temporarily. for some reason we cannont drill into that wall. We are also comsodering a wall unit.

The sectional is way too big for that space. If you can, replace it w/a sofa, maybe a few chairs. I'll show you examples.

I'd place two sofas face to face w/the console in the middle.

The best way to help with planning your living room is for you to post a thumbnail floor plan with all the measurements. First take overall dimensions of the room. Then start in a corner and measure everything: Corner to window frame > window including the frame > window to wall corner etc.you get the idea. Indicate the adjoining rooms and it would be helpful to take pics looking out of the room also. I would love to help.

Post the dimensions of your sofa and any other pieces of furniture you are keeping.
