Comments (2)What is the Ben Moore number to that color? I can't find a Ben Moore color by that name. Sherwin Williams has one. If you don't get any responses here, you might want to post this on the Home Decorating forum. Comments (2)Hi amysrq, The colors I need to decide on right away would be for the corner cabinets, the shoe cabinet, the trim and the ceiling. The kitchen cabinets can technically wait a little longer. However, I feel that I have to choose the color for the kitchen cabinets at the same time to make sure they all work together. Perhaps the dining cabinets and the trim can be the same color, and be a shade lighter than the kitchen. But I am open to any ideas. I agree that the foyer ceiling looks chopped up but didn't think about doing the same gray on the ceiling. We have a bathroom with a slopped ceiling and have painted that ceiling a shade lighter than the wall color. May be it can work here also....See MoreHaving a hard time finding an off white paint color
Comments (14)A few years ago, my husband and I painted the entire inside of our home with Behr off white Ultra Stain Blocking Paint and Primer in One. It was quite a labor of love. I purchased the paint from Home Depot, even got a 10% military discount (I am a retired US Air Force Captain). Prior to painting, we repaired all cracks and nail pops, washed and rinsed all walls, ceilings, doors and moldings. The paint went on smoothly, no issues, great coverage. I like Behr much better than SW or BM. We used matte for walls and ceilings, and satin for moldings and doors. Everyone who sees our home always compliments us on the wall color! It looks great all times of the day too. Best of luck in your journey....See MoreUpdating exterior colors for siding, trim, & shutters
Comments (6)This is basically what these colors will look like (the AFter) once on the home. what about a darker siding like shown here? they make a deep indigo siding I used these 3 colors on my home. This is Peppercorn on the trim and how it looks w/the dark siding color and the brick. I like the black around the window too I hope you remove the shutters. they do nothing for the home. they're too long, and just don't fit the look of the house. If you have to leave the shutters by the door, fine, but please consider removing the window shutters. here's a similar style home (brick was painted) but notice how nice the porch/windows look With some landscape work, yours could look very, very close to this one. The colors are BM Sea Peral and Repose Gray you could always do a color match w/behr paint. that's what I do. Have you considered white washing the brick? Romabio Classico would be an option. this is Romabio limewash tinted w/BM Seapearl and Simply White on the siding. Cedar wrapped posts. another version This is Galveston Gray w/a German Schmear on the brick This color looks close to Anonymous, kendall charcoal or Chelsea gray, w/black trim and wood/copper accents darker siding color than what you've picked, white brick, dark trim. Have you checked out James Hardie siding? here's a darker siding w/Romabio masonry painted brick. (for a heavier coverage. still natural and maintenance free)...See MoreLindsay K
