Comments (3)I am not the expert here, but I have read here that if it has roots it will grow. It must have had a bit of crown on it too? Bottom line what have you got to lose trying? As far as you having a leaf in water, I have been reading Hosta leaves are the latest in chic arrangements in the house....See MoreHelp with Hosta ID--Plant 2
Comments (5)I have to disagree with Undulata Albomarginata being the same as Silver Crown. It's about 27" tall and the leaves look different, much larger, rounder and more impressive. Diane...See MoreHelp with Hosta ID--Plant 3
Comments (9)Hi Janice-- The hosta you think might be Undulata was planted on the side of my current house by the previous owner. The other two were planted by the owner of my last house...before we bought that house. Soon after we bought that house, we divided them up and they both grew so well while we were there, that we divided them, potted them up and brought them with us to this house. So, the bottom line is that we inherited those three varieties. My husband and I really like the two with the more mounding habit (the Royal Standard and the Erromena)...I'm not as wild about growing habit of the Undulata. Yikes...that got confusing... :-) --Karen...See Morewhite fluff on hostas and several plants in garden (mealybug?)
