1970s orange brick house colours for trims and gutters
Comments (4)Small Budget usually = DIY. Best thing you can do there is paint. Try some of the color visualizer tools out there that allow you to load up your own photos: http://www.hgtvhomebysherwinwilliams.com/color-visualizer...See MorePinkish brick ranch (pink) - need help with trim/siding/garage color
Comments (17)Nice house and yard. Consider choosing a dark bold brown for the fascia/soffit (and, perhaps, around your bold red door) but leave all the window trim white. A lighter brown for the siding you're adding would work well. https://www.pellabranch.com/blog/global-blogs/black-window-frames/ If the additional work to be done is changing out the windows, replace the large ?fixed? window with a pair that open and consider choosing black frames. You could then consider choosing a dark bold brown for window trim as well....See MoreExterior House Paint and Trim for pinkish brick
Comments (18)I am going to Ditto the most common thought, dont paint, the house actually looks very nice, neat and tidy. Beige might seem boring, but it also leaves a clean slate for the next people. Painting it a bold or preferred color might actually deter the right buyer. I would however make it so it can appeal to everybody, even "youthful" 1. remove the white fan trellis. 2. remove the wreath 3 remove the flag 4. paint the front door maybe a shade of blue for a change 5. change the light fixture over the entry door. and on the garage. 6. plant some in season flowers, maybe mums or something that warms up the garden bed. 7. power wash 8. paint the garage beige and add the magnet hinge kit from Amazon https://www.homedepot.com/p/Home-Decorators-Collection-Blakeley-Transitional-2-Light-Black-Outdoor-Wall-Lantern-with-Beveled-Glass-19905/313542000...See MoreExterior paint color with orange brick and sandtone windows
Comments (6)Thanks, everyone. Still giving it some thought. Nice to know it’s not terrible in its existing color. If I kept it one color it would still change slightly because the paint color now doesn’t quite match the Andersen sandtone of the patio doors and windows. The sandtone is a little more grey, which I am good with. You can see the difference on the back of the house with the patio doors and paint. The trim could use some caulking and painting, especially and obviously where we replaced the wood. The siding is cement fiberboard and probably does not “need” a new coat of paint so maybe we can get away with painting the trim and doors....See MoreJilly
