Advice Requested for window treatment in master bedroom

We are trying to figure out what to do with the window treatment on this wall of the master bedroom, which is SW facing and looks out onto the backyard. Our bed will be set against the opposite wall and face out towards these windows.

Option 1 is blackout cellular shades with a top-down-bottom-up on each of the side windows. We’d install 2 shades on the same headrail across the sliding door so we could have one side down but still use the sliding door.

Option 2 is use light filtering cellular shades and install blackout drapes to control for light. I think we’d install one long rod and have panels stacked on either side of the fixed windows. The stack might bleed over the edge of those windows a little.

Option 3 is go with no shades and install a double curtain rod with a light filtering curtain and a blackout curtain.

What do you all think? Any other options I should consider?

Housson, I really like the look of the combination blinds/drapery panels in the photo you posted, above. But what do you think of the Roman blinds over the sea grass blinds on the side windows? They look odd to me…. Rather a valance over the sea grass blind? What do you think??

I used a board-mounted box pleated valance on the box bay in my dining room. I screwed the board right into the soffit above the window. The way mine was framed, there wasn't enough room to hang a rod high enough to cover the top of the window trim. I made long panels of the same fabric for my living room windows. I used honeycomb shades on all the windows (not room darkening, but I did consider them). Most of the time I leave them up, but we don't have a guest room and the sleep sofa is in the living room, so privacy is an issue when we have overnight guests. Totally Confused

One of the 5 windows in my office has its right drape panel a bit behind a secretary desk in here. It doesn't bother me, but you may feel otherwise. My roller shades block the sun and gives me total privacy if I choose to close them at night. My shades cover the full glass part of my windows, but not the outside trim. My windows are standard double hung, and yours appear to be sliding windows. If you do get shades, no matter what material type, and close them at night (just an assumption on my part) wouldn't you need to raise them in order to open the window if you choose to? Would that bug you at all? I may be prejudiced toward drapes, as I make them myself and love fabrics, so change them more often than others might.
