I am totally happy with Wendell getting the boot, especially since Nick's name was being thrown around! He may be in trouble next week, if Adam is talking about Nick that is. I was absolutely not rooting for Rob, even though with Tyson winning and back in the game, so is my son in law lol. I hope Rob is soon gone for good along with Parvati. Thankfully Sandra is gone for good already. I hope they didn't add a second chance for extinction people to get back in the game just because Rob didn't win. I really, really hope that isn't the case. DH was soooo tickled, he sent out in our mass txt with the kids, Hey, I'm pretty proud of myself, I made it to the merge! hahahaha

Ok, this is the only loved ones visit I actually liked! I was so happy that they let all of them stay - and that they included the other island players as well. Cute at the end when Boston Rob thanked Jeff and they all group hugged him. I agree about the whispering at tribal - the first time it happened was odd - now it's almost expected and it's annoying. It's much more interesting if something comes up and people start to look panicky at trying to figure out what to do - without whispering to everyone else. Survivor needs to stop allowing that to happen.

Never liked Josh. Wasn’t sorry to see him go.I think people are underestimating Carolyn. I know she’s a big goofball, but she’s also athletic and intelligent and she has the ability to sit back and observe the relationships and scheming among others. She flat out told people that Josh’s idol was a fake. She’s been smart enough to not play her idol. She won’t win though because she gets under people’s skin. Good episode.

DH and I just looked at each other in disbelief. I think there must’ve been some wild editing going on because I can’t believe they made that choice based on what we saw. Will this be another season in which most of the air time will be devoted to the one having constant and manipulative emotional breakdowns? I hope not. I‘d like to see more Naked and Afraid (sans hunting and being naked) and less Big Brother in The Jungle. This ”New Era” phase is not as enjoyable to me as old Survivor. Ok, I’m done grousing.
