Desperately needing some advice on glass shower door
Comments (22)Just do a simple sliding door. You choose where and which handles or pulls you want. Even if you only use one door opening the other to start the shower or even cleaning is worth it. You will probably pay more and have less versatility. Frameless doors offer less water containment, Make sure you know what your getting into as they look great in pics until you realize on the sides you have stick on clear plastic strips that yellow and fall off. Get a slim framed door and be done with it. They are repairable and you will have no water issues. Simple clean looking shower don't get the curtain remark....See MorePlease help me. I don't know what I am doing.
Comments (18)I might look for a lamp that could move forward on the chest enough (without danger of toppling off) that the shade just hides that thermostat. Place it just a couple inches to the right of where it is now, or move the whole chest to the right a bit. It won't affect the functionality, esp if you use an LED bulb = no heat. Then look for a large piece of art, or a couple of stacked pieces to fill in over the right side of the chest, as shown above. Another idea is a gallery wall incorporating the thermostat: I would trade you those beautiful folded blankets for the star wars lego decor my grandson has decorated my house with! eta: I was just looking at it again and think Cyn's idea to switch the cabinets would work. You could then place the floor lamp in front of the thermostat and just ignore it....See Moredesperately need some advice...
Comments (18)it's not a modern spanish bungalow. these tract homes with 'spanish' arches were all the rage in thelate 70's and 80's. We lived in one when I was a kid. If you like the Mediterranean exterior look, then by all means, have the front landscaped, house painted, new door, lights, etc, to reflect that look. If you don't like any of it, remove the rock and have is stuccoed to match the rest of the house. Remove the arch (or square it off in a more modern look). Have the low wall removed or have it l stuccoed to match the rest of the home. pick some paint colors you like and have the home painted. as for the inside, can't really see the entire room, or what your decor or style is, so it's hard to comment on that. I f you dislike the rock fireplace, don't paint them. remove it and tile with something you do like. You could even remove them and apply a smooth coat of stucco mortar in a deep charcoal. at least it would look better w/the cedar paneling. modernize the hearth w/a solid piece of quartz, marble, basalt,,or whatever The cedar paneling looks great in a lodge home. but if you paint it, it can be made into something a bit more modern or Boho type of design. Figure out what you want and like and go from there....See MoreDesperately need design advice on dining room table for open kitchen.
Comments (6)My boyfriend put a tv there for who knows what reason (bachelor at the time) but that would be taken down and the blue cabinet would move. It’s a huge open area with living room on the other side. The open space area is about 12’x13’....See Morejasmineg323
