We've had MSI Arctic White for over 18mos now. I love it. Haven't had any scuffing, scratching, or staining issues. Damp paper towel takes most everything off. I use Clorox Wipes for coffee rings or berry "ghosting" and give it a good general wipe down 2x per week. We looked at a lot of the quartz "marble" looking options, but someone made a comment that the veins either look fake or resemble (leg) spider veins. After hearing that, I can't "unsee" it! ha! The plain white has been a perfect backdrop for adding color and texture elsewhere (grout, wood cutting boards, walls, etc.). I also find that I like seeing exactly how dirty the counter top is (so I can wipe it off)!

It seems like your quartz is "quiet" so maybe you could have a more interesting backsplash. What is the flooring in the rest of the house?

I sell MSI, Cambria, Caesarstone, & a couple of others. I haven't had any complaints with MSI, but that's not to say I haven't heard of them around the circuit. If it were my kitchen, my money would go to Cambria. I often get quotes for each product for my clients in order to find best option for colour & price. Cheaper is not always the best choice. A lot of people think Cambria is more expensive, & often it is, however, it depends on the colour & it's pricing level. Have you priced out Cambria or Caesarstone? You may be surprised to find that a Cambria colour is less expensive. I've had it happen to the surprise of my clients. It's also hard to beat their colour choices. Cambria also has one of, if not the best, warranties of the lot. Their stain & scratch tests have revealed a lot to me when comparing the others.

I just went to the MSI showroom to view slabs. The slabs of Arno I saw had dark gold veining only with a bright white background. No other colors or variation. It was pretty. I'm on the fence. Our contractor said to look for jumbo sizes only. I wasn't expecting that and now feel somewhat limited. Arno is pretty and comes in prefab and jumbo size. Check out Vadara Quartz. I prefer their quartz colors. I also went to their showroom and I think their quartz is gorgeous.
