Quartz closest to carrera marble?
Comments (302)Anyone who has put the Calacatta Vicenza, any regrets? I’m leaning towards that for my kitchen but I want my counter tops to be mostly white with just little specks of gray here and there. In some pictures I find Kitchens who have huge chunks of gray and very busy. Any opinions? I was also thinking about cashmere Carrara? Any help is appreciated...See MoreQuartz - Help, please! Comments (4)We have medium brown hard wood floors and the kitchen cabinets will be painted white. A photo now won't help too much since it's a work in progress. :) I am concerned about the safety and quality of a quartz made in China so I will avoid that. Is one made in Turkey okay? Even if it isn't made with Breton technology?...See MoreIn search of quartz that looks like this...

Comments (28)I found this thread when searching on Houzz for Calacatta Ida, just saying thanks to everyone for the information sharing! I have a few quartz colors by MSI that I'm considering (and a few by Cosmos). Since I think this thread is about a year old, I was curious if there was an updated list of the MSI quartz colors that use Breton technology, so I emailed MSI. After a few frustrating email exchanges (the customer service rep on the email had no idea what I was asking for based on her replies) someone from MSI called me and said they do not give out the list because it is proprietary information She said once I narrow down my choices I can email them a list of colors I'm considering and they will let me know which of those use Breton. She also tried to tell me that it doesn't matter if it uses Breton, all MSI quartz are covered by the same warranty, but I feel if the product is superior to begin with (and fabricated and installed correctly) there is less chance of something going wrong and needing to use the warranty! Plus in my experience, many companies make it very hard to use the warranty, they come up with excuses. Just my opinion. Again thanks to all contributors on this post, very helpful with my decision making! :-)...See MoreMegan McAllister
