When did you order yours ModernAdobe?

We ordered mine in Dec 2021 and was just told by our Ferguson rep that we indeed get the new models. (36" column freezer and fridge and a wine cooler).

Still trying to find out when we will get them.

TU NGUYEN - I ordered the same as you (36” column fridge, freezer, wine fridge) in Jan 2022 also from Fergusons. I was told they won’t be delivered until 2023. Let me know what you hear about delivery. Thanks

We ordered the column fridge and freezer on Nov. 1, 2021, as soon as we were told the lead time was very long. I've been checking with Ferguson to get updates about every month. I called in April and was told still on track for Sep. 2022 and Oct. 2022. Today when I inquired I was informed they are no longer building the old model and they are now very backlogged on delivery as they've switched over to the new model. They stated Jan. 2023 for fridge column and March 2023 for freezer column. I cannot understand how they can collect 100% of the money for all of the appliances (12 + items) and not contact the customer with updates. We were due to receive delivery in June of the bulk of the items. I have several other items that were due and are now delayed until Oct. 2022. Customer service is very lacking.

I've been very understanding of the delays but I find it very distressing that customers are not being contacted regularly with updates. Not to mention everything is paid for in full.

What order dates does anyone else have and what delivery dates are they giving you?

I can. People such as yourself are willing to give it thousands of dollars for non-existent appliances, customers demonstrate that they don't actually care about availability, Ferguson is just the seller and doesn't control production, Ferguson doesn't have to waste staff time contacting customers, and Ferguson employees won't have to listen to customers complaining, "You told me in [insert month and year] that the appliances would be available in [insert month and year] and now you're telling me you were wrong!!"

I 100% agree with you that we should be getting updates regularly. It’s the least they could do. I don’t understand why we need to go through this middle man anyway and why I couldn’t just go to sub-zero. My sales rep knows close to nothing about any of the products that we purchased for new home.
This delay is going to delay us moving into our new home. Very frustrating.

We are placing our order tomorrow for the classic series over under. We are downsizing emptynesters so going small! Just found out today that the BI-20U/S will no longer be available and we will need to order the CL305OU/S. I had spent so much time researching and this threw me a bit. We don't have the lead time yet! Had been warned. Frustrating with paying for all up front. Not an easy time to be doing kitchen remodels for sure.

I ordered appliances Sept 2021: designer series column fridge and freezer (IT-30RID and IT-30FI), Sub Zero Designer beverage center, Wolf cooktop, E-Series double oven, Bosch 800 series dishwasher, Sharp microwave drawer and (2) Scottsman icemakers (nugget and gourmet ice). I only placed a 50% deposit for the entire package at that time and was told to expect a delivery date of Mar 2022.

All appliances minus the fridge and freezer were installed between in May and Jun 2022 (some delays with beverage fridge, Bosch and Scottsman).

My rep called today to let me know he finally got confirmation from SubZero that they are upgrading us to the new Designer models (DET3050FI and DET3050RID) because they are no longer manufacturing the old series. Evidently one of the components is unavailable and the supplier is now out of business. Supposedly they will be filling orders for the original series before moving on to customers who ordered the new models and production is slated to start in Oct 2022. Not holding my breath, but more hopeful to have some real information finally!

I was just in the wolf/sub zero design center June 2022 no mention of this new interior. does any have a link to see photos??

Has Sub-Zero changed the model number  of the designer series?

I'm curious if I have purchased the latest model or the previous model.

I've purchased the Sub-Zero DET3050CIID. I'm curious if it is the previous model or the current model. It is still listed on Sub-Zero's website.

I purchased it as part of a new construction contract that was executed in November 2021.  The exact model number was not in the original contract. It just stipulated the panel ready Sub-Zero Designer 30" column with lower freezer.

The builder just sent me the model number for my approval.

My main concern is that it is the previous version and has been in the warehouse and the warranty has already started to run.

The permits were just issued this past week and the project calls for the walls to go up on February 1, 2023.
