Bathroom sinks/vanity are IN bedroom, not bathroom- HUH?
Comments (30)My parents house is like that, but there’s a wall with a wide doorway into the area with the vanity, so it’s open but also easy to close off by just putting a curtain rail up. It’s also oriented to the room such that if you only use enough light at the vanity to wash your hands for a midnight potty run, it really isn’t enough to bother someone in the bed if you place the bed sensibly. Getting ready in the morning would be trickier if you needed to do makeup and so on so needed proper lighting, so that’s where a screen or a curtain would come in....See MoreI'm trying to choose a bathroom vanity
Comments (34)I used the RH Lugarno Sconces and coordinating towel bar and robe hook in my upstairs guest bath (full renovation). I also used a RH medicine cabinet, but can't remember the name. I'm happy with the quality. I've been using the bath for five months while my master addition was being built. I bought a RH Odeon Vanity on sale, including the marble top and the sink, for my master bath. The difference in quality, compared to my custom kitchen cabinets is the operation of the drawers. The drawers in RH vanities don't have the Blum glides/soft-close like my kitchen drawers. I also bought RH Wilshire sconces, a "train" towel rack, a towel bar, a shower shelf--all in polished nickel. Very happy with the quality. I bought during sales that also included a 20% friends and family....See MoreTrying to find a bathroom paint color
Comments (14)I'm confused by your description of your walls. You said toilet and sink "walls", which means they are on different walls, so I assumed they are across from each other with that room size. That means the two 3' walls would be shiplapped with a painted 6' wall. That's what I'm advising against. I have seen photos on Houzz of the entire bath shiplapped partway up like a tall wainscoting with paint above. Search on shiplap/powder room for examples....See MoreAffordable bathroom vanities. Alternatives to Ikea? Made in the US?
Comments (1)I'm not sure about pricing, but I know this company is made in the USA (WA state) and has a lot of options. I saw a video on them recently is the only reason I know about them as I'm not doing a vanity for mobility reasons. Good luck. https://strasserwood.com/...See MoreUser
