I'm craving Spam Hotdish
Comments (23)Fred wasn't a bad kid. Lost his Mom. Dad was raising a whole flock of boys by himself. Poverty. School lunches were bound to be low on the priority list. Haven't been to Mexico in years. I don't think we have too much longer before it comes to us. Not a bad thing necessarily.... I'll keep the Spam dish to myself - for now. Yes, I believe chick feet would be OK in stock. Would they have all that much flavor though? I think I used necks when I made stock in the past. Those have lots of connective tissue right? After all, what holds a neck together or am I thinking of something else? Chicken necks are deceptively long. Maybe they're baby swan necks. I wonder if the human neck looks long once the head is removed? So is there a good recipe for stock that doesn't use a ton of leeks or what can I substitute for leeks? Too expensive when you figure you throw at least half of them away. At first I read your "pouty lip injections" as "poultry lip injections". I guess the human brain is odd in answer to Orrin's other question. Jake Gyllenhaal...See MoreSpam email-'Contact ATM payment center'
Comments (6)I received a similar email yesterday that might be easier to fall for. It was purportedly from the technical support team & webmail account admin, It stated that my in box was full and to be reactivated I was to send info such as my log in info and password. This looked like it could be real except it didn't mention my name, had at least one misspelled word, legitimate businesses don't ask for that info in an email, and I am still getting mail. While I have gotten several of the Nigerian type, this is the first time I have received a phishing email of this type. BEWARE!...See Moremy beloved grandfather is gone, what do i do now
Comments (7)I am settled on a mild antidepressant now, but still unsure whether it is really helping. My husband has quit drinking, 3 weeks, now. I only drink socially, margharita at a mexican restaraunt is about the extent of my drinking. My son is taking an anger management class at school, but I think I am going to go ahead and make him an appt with someone to talk because he is dreaming now, the other night he sobbed for a solid 30 minutes after dreaming of my poppa, and he worries about every little thing, he is scared he is going to die, this can't be right for a 10 year old child. March 16th will be one year since he passed, I still struggle, but am trying to be strong for him and my daughter. It's funny and silly but I have a small dog who used to love going down to his house and sit with him and get treats, and now we are trying to clean the house up, and she will not set foot in the house, if we pick her up and take her in she whines and scratches at the door the whole time, weird, i don't know why she does this...just strange. I talk to him all the time and catch myself sometimes talking to him at random times, but it actually helps me i think...not sure, maybe not. Anyway thanks everyone for the advice!!...See MorePays to belong to AAA - not spam(!)
Comments (31)I appreciate hearing the reasons to not use it: it helps me make up my mind as to whether to use it or not. I chose not to use it for years, for some of the reasons given, as I'm fairly handy and have had friends that I can call on for some assistance, from time to time, though I've not chosen to have a cell phone, thus far. I don't appreciate someone, not knowing my situation, telling me that I'm silly for using it, though. One of these days my kids'll be making decisions regarding the operation of my life, quite likely, but for the present, I feel capable of making my own decisions ... and if, in the present situation, while I pay attention to my kids' opinions ... if I'm unwilling to have them take over my life - why would I be willing to have strangers do so ... on a social networking web? Daughter gave me a membership four or five years ago and I've kept it up ... and her Christmas gift last year was this year's renewal. Now that I'm over 80, it seems to me to make more sense ... though some folks figured I'm slightly crazy to push the car to get it rolling down a slight incline, to get it to start when the battery was down (lights left on). Heck - before the eight years that I'd have had to pay to be towed home from Toronto last year ... ... there's a good possibility that I'll be dead! Not quite ready to go, yet, though, if you don't mind ... ... or even if you do mind. ole joyfuelled...See MoreLoneJack Zn 6a, KC
