Will American Beech invade my ravine lot?

Hello everyone, I live on a Ravine lot in Minnesota which is a mix of sugar maple, red oak, ironwood, basswood. Hackberry, and elm. I have two American Beech saplings from a nursery that I planned to plant on the edge of the ravine. I've been hearing that beech sucker and can lead to thickets and their seedlings dominate other species. I know it may not happen in my lifetime but would the beech eventually consume the wooded ravine? I don't want a non native tree taking over. I'm wondering if I need to find a new place for these trees maybe away from the wooded ravine. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
