A warm white would work. A muted green might be nice (could bring out the reds in the cherry).

Is the wall on the right the same color as behind the stove? The right wall reads a neutral beige; behind the stove looks mustard yellow, possibly due to the rangehood lights.

@Lindsey Brown sorry it took me a while to get to some mock-ups. I used the Benjamin Moore online tool for these; color names are only guidelines since the tool can only make its best guess for how a color will actually look in the space.

Lindsey, the new photo shows that you really do need paint that patches! :) Current color is bad with the (very pretty) cabinets. Cawap's colors are good because they match the cabinets and are also friendly with the old color in the neighboring spaces.

I know sage is trending, and that's a concern for me. Remember the remorseful barf green of the 70's, colonial blue of the 80's, and mauve of the 90's?

I would suggest white with a touch of warmth. I feel tan, beige, and gray clash with the cherry cabinets. Could you consider painting the cabinets white? Then a softer beige on the walls (like BM Nature's Essentials)? It would brighten up you space, in my opinion.

While I like the greens with your cabinets, I don’t think they work well with your floor. I would look at some warm whites. Either way, paint a sample where you can see how it works with your floor tiles.
