Pick out your countertop first. It'll be challenging because your floor is lively, and you don't want to also have to consider cabinet color. Your current color isn't bad at all so there shouldn't be a rush. (I love that style cabinet, especially when they are so crisply clean looking like yours!) You can go with moody greens or golds for Craftsman...just have to avoid harvest gold or avocado green in YOUR kitchen because it does have those midcentury roots you're trying to ignore. Look at some classic Craftsman tiles if you think you might use a tile backsplash. Inspiration. :)

You clearly like art and color. I'm thinking that a color closer to neutral like Soft Chamois or Mountain Peak White would let the art shine. But your combinations are well thought out and if you like to have color on your walls and these colors look right to you then they're right for you. I have used Soft Chamois and it doesn't look green at all in the light I have. I have it in both north and south facing rooms. I only sampled it in the south facing room. It turned out to be brighter than what I was looking for there, but in the north facing room its brightness was needed. Your question about why Brandon Beige looks different at different times of day is because the angle of natural light varies throughout the day, and seasonally. One person told me she chose a color for a room in summer which she loved and she hated it in winter light. This is why it is problematic for people to try to help you online. Colors look different IRL and even IRL they'll look different on different walls of the same room. I have painted the interiors of two houses completely and I'm halfway through the third. I've found there is just no substitute for sampling. Rarely do I hit the right color on the first try. And that's not even getting into how sometimes DH has a different opinion. :-)

I assume you’re getting Samplize paint swatches or something similar to try in various parts of your kitchen and next to your floor and countertops. You’ve chosen cool gray colors do likely you’ll need a cool green, gray- green and will likely eliminate warm greens. For example, I like Billiard as a green for me because of how it’s a yellow - green and looks good with warm woods. But probably is not your green with that flooring. Some of the other greens are quite dark , kind of blackened, so see if they are too dark or instead give a good crisp look.

if the island stays in that general size I dont think the pendants can be oversized or anything like that. here are some slim models [ below] ....itll be nice for you to have a look at a lighting center. there is so much going on w lighting. w regard the floor.....start on that if you want the same thin planks. there may be a product that replicates vintage looks but you may have to pay for it. Back to the cabinet painting.....dont rule out spending a bit more to stack additions up to the ceiling.....it'll make the paint project have a higher value long term for your pretty space.
