Yummy yummy fruit tree--suggestions?
Comments (10)Well, since you've got a Meyer Lemon growing, citrus are always an option. If you like grapefruit, why not try an Oro Blanco, Melogold or Cocktail? All are actually crosses of some sort (pummelo and grapefruit, or pummelo and mandarin/sweet orange), are much sweeter and do not require the heat to sweeten up as some of the standard grapefruit varieties do. And, a nice semi-dwarf grapefruit is a very pretty tree. Not sure what you mean by "...staying away from a mass of thorns". Blueberries do not have thorns. Maybe what you have are blackberries or raspberries?? Yes, grapefruit trees do have thorns, but the fruit are borne in clusters at the ends of branches, so the grapefruit thorns are not really going to interfere with picking either the blueberries or the grapefruilts. You might also think about one of the delicious pluots or apriums. Check out Dave Wilson's website for some nice suggestions and descriptions. Patty S. Comments (18)SueCT - I actually know HTML really well. My mistake is that I put a link to the image provided on the Blanco article (which for some dumb reason is huge). So unfortunately i can't resize it as it's on the Blanco website. So sorry - this post is a pain to read! Any way that I can go in and edit the first post and just remove the link to the first photo?...See MoreAnother New Trader Joe's Yummy

Comments (23)What a nice house. It looks better when you can see the full length of the right most window. Can you bring that bush down in height or move it to the corner of the house? Here are some of my favorite exterior colors from Benjamin Moore....See Moremtnrdredux_gw
